VIF College of Engineering and Technology is an accredited institution of learning which began operations in 1994 in Moinabad, Telangana. This college is a self-financed college affiliated and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, that provides various engineering courses. Located at 786, Himayath Nagar, Gandipet Road, it has a current student population of 397 and a faculty of 109 members. VIF College of Engineering and Technology is recognised for pursuing excellence in Technical Education for the all-round development of students with emphasis on theoretical knowledge as well as applied knowledge.

VIF College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad. VIF College of Engineering and Technology is proud to host a wide range of services in order to improve student learning environments. The campus has two different hostel facilities for boys and girls to increase comfort for students who have to travel from other provinces. There exists a competent professional health facility within the college to meet the health demands of the college fraternity. 

As an important part of the academic materials, the library has 31,382 volumes and 6,236 titles In addition, the library is subscribed to 78 national and international journals. Students also get e-journals, which give them a good platform in research. In sports and games, the VIF College has well-designed cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, archery, tennis and table tennis courts, which are ideal for students interested in sports, as the college is one of the few of its kind in the city to offer many of these facilities.

The college, at present, offers 11 courses, and these include B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA courses only and a total intake capacity of 72 students. These specialisations are M.Tech Power Electronics, VLSI Design, Computer Science Engineering and Embedded Systems, with 18 seats for each. Thus, the college concentrates on postgraduate education in these specific fields.

The admission procedure at VIF College of Engineering and Technology involves admission for all and a merit criterion. The institute allows students to present scores from some important entrance examinations, including the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, which is also referred to as TS EAMCET and the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test, referred to as TSICET. These examinations act as a pass for the jobless students to gain their deserved slot in the various programmes offered by the college.
