The total enrolment of a student per year is 586 and faculty of 52 that makes a proper environment for the aspiring engineers at the institute. The programmes that are offer by VIT balasore are four B.Tech programmes which have been developed to meet the change that is experienced in the industry and in the society.

In terms of health problems, the school which prepares for international certifications features the first aid facility in the campus area. As of now, VIT Balasore has four four-years-full time B.Tech programmes for students. Such programmes are Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
