Vikat Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Lucknow, was established in the year 2008 as a premier institution of pharmaceutical education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Being a co-educational institute, it is located on Hardoi Road, P.O. Kakori, Lucknow. This affiliated college is approved by PCI and AICTE. It has 7 faculty members imparting professional education in the field of pharmacy with a concept of developing professionals for the pharmaceutical industry. 

The facilities provided at Vikat Institute of Pharmaceutical Science are many and range from:. The orientation of the D.Pharma course is to make the student come out with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences so that he or she can be employed in the industry or pursue higher studies. Though this, at an institute level, seems to be a diploma programme, the approach remains at building expertise in pharmaceutical education at the diploma level.
