VD is one of the oldest institutions in Odisha.The college is among the best in sciences and the humanities. The crowd is great in the arts but not too great in the science. There's something or the other happening every week. Placements are rather weak and jobs aren't really easy to come by.

VD was a Major turning point in my life. Why only mine? I think whoever is a part of the VDian family will say the same thing. It is located in the heart of the city of joy, accessible from all corners of the city. from the first day itself, VD feels like home. It's a place where everyone belongs, every talent gets a platform.
