Viswambhara College of Education, Bollikunta, Warangal, was established in the year 2003. This co-educational college, situated in a 5-acre area, is an affiliated college accredited by NCTE, New Delhi, under sections 2(f) & 12(B) of the U.G.C. Act 1956. More focused on preparing future educators, the institute has two specific programmes totalling 100 students in the institute. The college has a comfortable student-to-faculty ratio with 16 dedicated faculties catering to the need of students willing to be proactive teachers.

The campus provides the facility of hostels for boys and girls to stay in for outstation students and are comfortable. The courses of Viswambhara College of Education include two full-time courses in the field of education. The B.Ed. programme has the sanction for taking 100 students, while D.El.Ed. has been accredited for 50 students only. The difference in the programme is that both take approximately two years to complete and afford preparation to the aspiring educators. It is important for the college to focus on these two specialised courses so that a concentrated effort can be made to train teachers for the future.

Viswambhara College of Education, an affiliated college of Kakatiya University, Warangal, also holds merit as a criterion for admission where standard X, standard XII, degree, or any other standard or examination in its place of origin; marks obtained in the case of B.ED. entrance examination. It utilises the admission policies developed by the State Government of Telangana and the university to which the college is affiliated. In the case of B.Ed. programme admission, a qualifying mark is obtained in the qualifying examination, the B.Ed. entrance test or any other mode as per the existing norms. Similarly, for the D.El.Ed. programme, admission to the programmes shall be on merit in the qualifying examination and the entrance test as per norms set by the state government.
