Vivekanand College Sikar was founded in the year 2014 and is one of the budding colleges of Rajasthan. Sanwali College of Education is based in Sikar near Sanwali Circle, which has expanded within a short span of its time to provide multiple opportunities and course options. Vivekanand College is a small institution with its compact campus occupying the area of 2.66 acres. At the moment, the college is home for 245 learners. It has 7 courses and 3 degree programmes, and 17 full-time faculties that dedicate their time and efforts towards the growth and success of the college. It offers instructions in science and commerce fields, and it is responsible for undergrad and postgraduate education.

Vivekanand College, Sikar is affiliated with the college  Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar. Despite this, the college boasts of satisfying the student need by providing a myriad of facilities that aim at boosting their experience. To facilitate practical experiences, the college has departmental laboratories containing sophisticated instruments besides offering demonstration apparatus for practical sessions.  There is an added bonus in the form of a hall that functions as both an auditorium and a place for hosting seminars and various cultural events, thus ensuring mostly active college life. Free health services are available by having an on-campus health centre that deals with the first aid needs of the students. Vivekanand College comprises a course catalogue of seven courses; all programmes are only full-time. According to the classification of the courses, they are offered at both the undergraduate and the postgraduate levels to satisfy different students’ learning needs. At the undergraduate level, the college offers B.Sc., B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Com. Postgraduate programmes that it provides are M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Zoology for those students who want to proceed with their studies. These programmes are intended to impart subject- and market-specific concepts as well as hands-on skills in a given area.
