Vivekananda College of Education, Puttur, was launched in the year 2004, an institution of national repute in the state of Karnataka, India. This affiliated college is situated in the locale of Viveka Nagara, Thenkila Puttur, and it has an extensive 11-acre landscape. The institution is an NCTE-recognised institution that aims to define the future of education. At the present, there are 99 students enroled in the college and the school has a committed faculty of nine. Vivekananda College of Education Bangalore continues to serve only a single programme, although under the bachelor's level, their B.Ed. programme highlights the institution’s targeted mission of producing quality educators.

In its normal year of operation, this programme has an approved enrolment of one hundred candidates, whose primary purpose is to produce effective and committed teachers.
