A tastebud-pleasing canteen provides tasty food for 300 persons a day and an adequate transport facility to the students and staff from places in and around Karaikudi, nearby districts of Karur, Kulithalai, Manapparai and Trichy.

Right now, VKS College of Engineering and Technology has the option for five full-time B.E programmes. These are four-year courses that introduce students to many of the engineering disciplines and prepare them for further into those fields.
