Westfort Institute of Paramedical Sciences is located in Thrissur, Kerala. It is a co-ed, private college that was established in the year 2004. It is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur. It offers 3 degrees and 7 courses. The programs are offered at different levels- diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The courses provided are approved by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Kerala. The institute focuses on developing an atmosphere for quality education through credible training led by an able and experienced faculty, upholding values of professional ethics. Before applying for any particular programme, a candidate must meet the eligibility. The admissions will be in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME). 

Westfort Institute of Paramedical Sciences helps the students with the education loan process and also provides management scholarships. The Self-Financing Paramedical Management Association represents paramedical institutes in Kerala. The Self-Financing Paramedical Management Association (SPMA) is a voluntary regulatory agency of Self-Financing Paramedical Institutes in Kerala. The college has a lot of facilities for its students. These include hostel facilities, a library, a guest waiting room, sports facilities, IT infrastructure, a cafeteria, a transport facility, labs, an auditorium, and a health centre.

Thrissur railway station is the nearest railway station to the campus which is located 9.2 km away and takes 20 minutes to reach by any vehicle. At a distance of 57.4 km, Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport which takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the campus. The Thrissur bus stand is 8.5 km away and takes 15 mins to reach from the institute. Thrissur can be accessed by road as well and it has very good road connectivity.
