WWI Mumbai admissions are offered on the basis of scores obtained in Media and Entertainment Common Aptitude Test (MECAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT), Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Personal Interview. The diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are offered in association with Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai.

WWI Mumbai admissions are offered in the fields of film making, media communication and management, visual communication design, animation and game design and some other fields.
WWI Mumbai admissions are done through an entrance process which includes Media and Entertainment Common Aptitude Test (MECAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT), Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Personal Interview. It is mandatory for candidates to meet the WWI Mumbai admission criteria to be admitted to the college.
