ApplyWomen's Christian College was established in 1915 with 41 students and 7 faculty members as a result of a collaboration between 12 interdenominational and international missionary societies with locations in England, Canada, and the United States. Its goal was to offer higher education in the liberal arts and sciences to Indian women. On July 5, 1916, the College moved into its new location on College Road. Students at the college are given ample WCC Chennai facilities too. As enrollment increased, it acquired two adjacent lots of property and several buildings, increasing the total number of acres to 20. WCC Chennai courses include B.A.., B.Com., B.Sc., M.A., M.Com, M.Sc., M.Phil, Ph.D. and others. The institution received a total score of 66 in the NIRF 2023 rankings and 40 in the NIRF 2021 rankings. WCC Chennai admission into the courses is given based on merit in the qualifying examination.
In the contemporary environment, the College's mission statement, which is to "provide a complete, meaningful and relevant education to women so that they are intellectually well-trained, morally upright, socially aware, and spiritually inspired," is still applicable. WCC Chennai placements are given to the students based on their academic performance. The phrase "Lighted to Lighten" was chosen as the college's motto and the sunflower as its official flower during the first week of operation. WCC Chennai scholarships are given to merit students who are interested to pursue higher studies at the college. The college crest was also created, and the song "Alma Mater" was written to the tune of Finlandia, a composition by Sibelius.

Greetings of the day dear candidate,
Admissions into various colleges will start right after board exams of class 12th will end. Also, the admisisons for various different courses have some particular eligibity criteria. So, you should wait for atleast til June for admission procedure to start.
See, if you want to take admisisons on direct basis then you can simply visit the college and fill the form and pay the fees but for that you need your class 12th marksheet. So that is why you should wait till the examination is completed for class 12th.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you and good luck:)
Hi Ragha!
The Cut Off of B.Sc. Psychology in Women's Christian College, Chennai, has not yet been Official released by the Management. But the Admission Process for this Course is based on your 12th marks in Board Exams. From the information received 2 years before, mostly you should have above 92% for getting through Counselling. If you get less, then you can get admission through Management Quota!
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
Hello Tharani,
It depends on the college you have joined. If there is any campus interview they will notice you just need to attend and do your duty as student. If you are selected You are either called or emailed by either HR or the hiring manager and invited to discuss the offer. If you accept it, you are probably hired, so you will know.
If yo still have any issue regarding this you can comment in below.
I hope it helps you.
There is no information given on the spot at the last interview because the interviewer usually does not know what other candidates are in the process and what is the evaluation for everyone. If the interviewer does not know, you will not know either.
