Yaduvanshi College of Engineering and Technology, Mahendergarh, was established in 2009. It is an affiliated college in Haryana. The college offers various courses in the engineering stream at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It has a campus sprawling over 10 acres. YCET is approved by AICTE with an enrollment of 89. YCET has managed to maintain a wholesome student-to-teacher ratio with a faculty strength of 68. 

It is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute has a comprehensive set of facilities that go a long way in making the learning and teaching processes easier. This campus has an ultra-modern boys' and girls' hostel, with A.C. rooms, recreation halls, etc. The institution's academic and research pursuits are supported by a spacious library that has a huge stock of books, journals, and other digital resources. All undergraduate programmes are full-time four-year courses, whereas the postgraduate programmes are two-year full-time courses with specialisations in different engineering fields like computer science, electronics and communication, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering.

Admission to YCET is primarily based on the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. For the B.Tech programme, admissions shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of JEE Main scores; the candidates with the highest scores shall get preference. Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE score and satisfying the eligibility conditions, and an interview process.
