    About Yashwant Ayurvedic College Post Graduate Training and Research Centre, Kodoli

    This Ayurveda training and research centre is situated in Kodoli and was established in 1989. It is affiliated with this well-regarded institution, meant for conducting Ayurveda-related research and education on 19.3 acres of land in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This institute has been approved by CCIM and offers 24 courses in 4 degree levels. The institution has a total student enrolment of 701 and a faculty strength of 83.

    The Ayurveda Training and Research Centre, Kodoli, is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi. The institute has all the modern facilities to support its educational mission. There is a very well-stocked library with plenty of books, reference books, dissertations, and subscriptions to national and international journals, besides having access to the internet and reprography services.     Yashwant Ayurvedic College has a wide variety of 24 courses in full-time UG, PG, and doctoral Programmes in Ayurvedic specialisations. The flagship course, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, picks up 100 in number from a huge number of students applying every year. There are 13 MD courses, 2 MS courses, and 8 Ph.D. programmes with different intake capacities.

    Admission to Yashwant Ayurvedic College is based primarily on the national-level entrance test. For BAMS, the students will qualify according to the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Postgraduate admissions in MD and MS take place through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduates. In some courses, the college also accepts the scores of the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test AIAPGET.     The cutoff of year 2018-19 for OBC category at Yashwant Medical college, kohlapur for NEET was 118-96 (40th percentile) and for OBC-ph was 106-96
