Microwave engineering is a field in which candidates study the frequency range from 1 gigahertz to 30 gigahertz. IIT Bombay has designed the Microwave Integrated Circuits certification course to teach candidates about this engineering domain in which circuits have unique properties which are not present in lower frequencies. The course instructor, Professor Jayanta Mukherjee from IIT Bombay, covers the Microwave Integrated Circuits certification syllabus in eight weeks. The curriculum consists of eight modules, tutorial lectures, and weekly graded assignments. There is also a certification exam at the end, which is optional. After passing this exam with the minimum qualifying marks, candidates can become certified.

The interesting aspect of this online program is that it covers certain new topics and laws related to microwave engineering. Candidates can take admission in the Microwave Integrated Circuits training for free and learn from an experienced instructor. AICTE has also approved this as an FDP program.
