SCMS School of Architecture, Ernakulam or SCMS Ernakulam as it is commonly known is a private institution formed in 2014 with the express aim of delivering architectural learning. The college is affiliated and approved by the Council of Architecture. Located on a vast area of 25 acres, SCMS Ernakulam provides students a suitable environment for learning. The institute has 308 students enrolled at present and has a source of 34 faculty members. SCMS Ernakulam has only one programme of study, a B.Arch degree programme in architecture.

The institute boasts of the best facilities to support learning in a bid to maintain student’s performance and growth. It is a two floor library with an area of 201sq.m and contains more than 2000 books and 25 national and 3 international journals related to architectural knowledge. These are state of the art facilities with forty computers venerable for downloading latest design software and understanding the modern architectural tools. In addition to the lecture hall there is a spacious seminar hall that could accommodated the 200 persons during academic discourses or seminars. SCMS also also has a basketball court, an indoor stadium and a gymnasium, and has a canteen on campus to ensure students are in good health. An arrangement of free Wi-Fi throughout the campus enables easy access to the available resources on the internet. For the outstation students, the institute offers separate hostels for male and female students.

SCMS School of Architecture is a self-finance institution located in Ernakulam, Kerala, that offers only its B.Arch programme that is a five year full time programme. This institute allows the intake of 80 students for this programme to uphold the aspirations of aspiring architects. At SCMS School of Architecture admission, students are offered based on merit, following the general standard set for all students. They regulate the percentage level achieved in Plus Two, along with your NATA score for making the merit list. Candidates are offered admissions according to their rank list format with regard to the number of candidates themselves.
