Government Engineering College, Idukki offer admission to various B.Tech programmes. The B.Tech programmes are offers in different branches such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The course duration of the B.Tech programme is 4 years. The eligibility criteria for GEC Idukki B.Tech admission is that the candidates should have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks.

The M.Tech programme course duration is 2 years.

• Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE and have a valid score.

• The admission process is conducted by the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Kelera.

• Later, cut off is released and further candidates need to participate in the Kerala M.Tech counselling process.
