Your score is good so if you want to give the another attempt of JEE Mains examination 2021 you will do it definitely. May be you will score more good than this. If you go for JEE advanced you will be appearing for IIT.

You haven't mentioned your home state, and your category. Analysing the previous year data, for 96 percentile, your All India Rank will be 27000 to 34000 approximately. With this rank you have low chances of getting into the top NITs. Don't worry, you can try some medium to lower NITs, and also get many good private colleges with this percentile.
