The counselling procedure for AIIMS all over India is scheduled to begin from June 25 2019. There has been no announcement till date about the last date for application for the counselling procedure. The subsequent counselling procedure after the first there is scheduled in the month of July tentatively.

If you don't have any problem in studying both the courses then I will like to suggest you to take general surgery at RIMS Imphal. 

The field of surgery is very difficult but at the same time requires one's full dedication and will eventually give you better benefits in return.

Further after general surgery you can go for M.Ch in other specialisation like cardiac surgery or neurosurgery or nephrology.

The main point is that surgery will be much more intense and rigorous that medicine but will benefit you more as well in developing your brain and critical activity enhancement.

Yes you may get AIIMS Rishikesh as per last year's statistics. The cutoff for OBC category last year was 2095. So even if there is a little bit inflation in the cutoff then also it is possible to get AIIMS Rishikesh. You can also get AIIMS Patna and AIIMS Jodhpur if there is not much deviation in cutoff.

AIMS is AIMS, as it is central government running institute and also due to rishikesh, best faculties of india. AIMS rishkesh has one of the best blood bank in india. So, definitely AIIMS rishikesh is better than PGIMS rohtak. So go for AIIMS obiviously.

According to previous years cut off ranks analysis which is subjective so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity as it depends upon a lot of factors such as no of applicants to aiims , level of difficulty of aiims this year etc etc ,also many new aiims are participating this year so seats are increased, last year cut off rank for aiims  was 2048 for obc category at  aiims patna,2074 at aiims raipur , 2168 at aiims nagpur , 2212 at aiims guntur , so according to previous years cut off rank analysis you have probable chances of getting above mentioned aiims, also since new aiims are participating you may get a seat there too but nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity.

Aiims delhi on first and lady hardinge on fifth position.

According to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon no of applicants, level of difficulty of aiims this year , applicants from obc category applying to aiims rishikesh etc etc ,last year cut off rank for aiims rishikesh was 1664 for obc category in 2018, though cut off rank fallout is different every year so acc to previous years analysis you might / might not have a chance.
