The people might not be satisfied with the expensive fee structure of the university but otherwise apart from this factor, the university is quite good in terms of campus, infrastructure and education as well.

If you have funds then you can study BA Economics here without maths.

see in top universities like delhi university, ramjas college, hindu college only gives admission in bachelor degree  economics if they have mathematics in 10+2, however after completing b.a if you go for mba or any other professional courses like pgdm or mba in data analytics it will not matter. so just relax and concentrate on  the fruitful use of degree and make your self job ready.

Amity University is a renowned brand and known all over the world and India but Amity's campus in Kolkata was set up in 2015 which makes it just a 5 year old institution. It is a mediocre choice. You can see if you can get into Amity University Noida Campus or some other institute in that matter.

For pursuing BA in Economics  Amity Kolkata would be a better choice considering the exposure you will be getting by studying in Amity University Kolkata campus would be far better than the kind of exposure you would get by studying at the Patna Campus. Kolkata would also offer you a lot of internship opportunities and a good learning environment. On the other hand there are other good colleges/universities which offer Bachelor's in economics to those candidates who did not had mathematics as a subject in class 12th. Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi- you will have to appear for the university's entrance test for getting admissions to its BA. Eco degree. Indraprastha University, Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University.
