There are several hostels in the university. They are Malaimagal Illam, Sarada Illam, Kalaimagal Illam, Arpana Illam, Malarmagal Illam and Thirumagal Illam. There is also a separate hostel for postgraduate students and staff members. The hostel rooms are equipped with modern facilities and conveniences. The hostel canteen serves vegetarian food implementing a dividing system.

The university has an on-campus medical clinic.  Qualified medical officer looks after the students, faculty and staff members. Avinashilingam University medical clinic facilities include ECG machine, germi autoanalyser, diagnosis machine, emergency drugs, etc. The NSS unit also conducts free medical camps and community nutritious camps for the local community.

The university campus is fully enabled with wi-fi. Outdoor and indoor access points are enabled with Sophos access points. Firewall Cyberoam is installed to provide network security and it eliminates the need for a network access control server, AAA server and WCS server.

Avinashilingam University laboratory facilities include modern instruments and apparatus for imparting practical knowledge to the students. Each department has its own laboratory.
