Hello,

No, NEET is not required to get admission in BSc Nursing. You can do BSc Nursing, after the completion of 10th and 12th Exams.

BSc Nursing is a Degree Course to pursue a career in Nursing. The Course is divided into two parts- Basic and Post-Basic with a course duration of 4 and 2 years respectively.

Some other BSC Nursing colleges have been conducting their own entrance exams.

All The Best.

Dear Aspirant,

Banaras Hindu University is one of the premier institutes of the country and probably of the state as it is one of the oldest established public Universities and it offers courses to students to different sections of society and offers a variety of professional and academic graduation and post graduation programs. It provides admission to one of the best rank holders of the NEET entrance examination and hence getting admission in it is sometimes a bit difficult. It is so because it has a limited number of seats for a course. Infact the number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants. For BAMS, the number of seats is only 50.

As far as the cutoff mark is concerned, back in 2018, the cutoff marks set was close to 540 and in 2019, the cutoff marks was close to 550. As there as been no significant increase in the number of seats for the course, the cutoff marks won't change that much. It is expected to be around 555 as the number of applicants have increased but number of seats. This was for general category students

As far as reservation Category OBC is concerned, the cutoff marks shall be close to 500. Again, this is just estimated marks and not real cutoffs which you need to wait for to be declared by the Authority.

Good luck in getting admission in BHU.

Dear Aspirant,

You have great chances of being a part of Banaras Hindu University for studying BAMS or Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BHU is one of the premier public Universities of the country and perhaps the best in the state.

As far as the cutoff for BAMS is concerned, you have scored well above the cutoff mark. Fo rhe year 2018, the cutoff mark for BAMS in BHU was close to 240 and in 2019 it was close to 250 for general category students. Therefore, as the number of seats have not increased significantly, therefore, the cutoff mark would not have increased that much. Anyway, you have scored better than the marks required for admission in the institute in the preferred course of yours. To back up your contention for a BAMS seat in the institute, you have the luxury of a strong reservation i.e. Other Backward Class. This shall cement your place in the institute for BAMS at ease.

In case you want to look for other good Universities as well, you should compare such colleges with BHU and find out which is the better college for you. In order to compare colleges, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

https://www.careers360.com/compare-colleges

This is a great comparison tool and shall be able to answer your queries in relevant aspects related to college admission. It compares colleges based on their merits and demerits and focusses in key parameters like placement prospects, scope for research or higher education, qualified professors, skill oriented education, value based internships, etc.

Dear Aspirant,

With the rank you have secured in B.sc Nursing in BHU Entrance exam it is difficult to get into BHU as there are only 75 seats in total and 7 seats are available for EWS category. But you can give it a try as cutoffs changes every year so this year you might get into BHU.

Hope it Helps!

Hello

The nirf ranking of IIT bhu is 11 and nirf ranking of nit warangal is 19.Both these colleges are quite good. The placement structure of IIT BHU is excellent. The highest salary package offered was 1.5 crores and the lowest salary package was 15 lakhs and average salary package was 23 lakhs.infrastructure and faculty is excellent.

Nit warangal is also one of the top nit college.nearly 93% of the students got placed in reputed companies every year. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA and average salary package offered was 13.3.Faculty and infrastructure is too good.

Based on nirf ranking and placements iit bhu ece is better than cse in nit warangal.

All the best.

hey!

ECE branch is quite in demand now a days as the candidate can work in both software field and electronic industry. Also, IIt Bhubneshwar provides good placement opportunities in ECE . As per the reviews 85% students ot placement in good companies and college also provided paid internships to some of its students.

If you are interested in mechanical engineering then you must opt IIt Kanpur, as it is in more demand than IIt Bhubneshwar. Also, the facilities of each IIt are upto the mark like hostel, mess, wifi, classrooms etc.

Choose wisely!

Hi Dear,

Banaras Hindu University has started conducting the BHU UET 2020 counselling. BHU releases rank on following basis:

  • Overall rank
  • Female rank
  • Bhu Rank
  • BHU Female rank
  • Category wise rank
  • BHU category wise rank
  • PH

You have not mentioned your category. So if 1084 is your general rank then you might find difficulty in getting into college because the seats are few when compared to competition. However, you can try getting admission in college through paid seat.

Student Reviews for BHU Varanasi

College Infrastructure: 4.2/5
Academics: 4.2/5
Placements: 3.5/5
Value for Money: 3.7/5
Campus Life: 4.4/5

Hopefully, the experience I shared will be useful.

College Infrastructure

Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.

Very good . Nice experience

College Infrastructure

The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine

felt good reviewing about BHU

College Infrastructure

The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres.
