Hello,
looking at the past years' scenario scoring above 200 gives you high scope of getting a hostel in the main campus. However the cut off varies and it also depends how many students are there who have score more than you.
However you would be eligible for hostel only if you live outside Varanasi.
Good luck
I believe as far as Metallurgical Engineering is concerned , IIT BHU being an older technical institute with experienced faculty, good research facilities and industry connections would be a better choice. Even if later on you develop interest in Non Core fields like AI and Software, IIT BHU will provide a sea of opportunities. As far as Metallurgical Engineering is concerned companies like Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Vedanta, Reliance, Jindal are regular recruiters at IIT BHU.
Hi,
Well you need to mention the subject for which you gave the exam. Was it for science or arts or social sciences or commerce or similarly for other subjects. All other subjects have their own cut offs and I need to know that to answer better to your question about seat allotment.
Dear aspirant,
Looking at previous year cutoff trends you have a quite good rank. So you have a fair chance of getting admission. I suggest you stay till second third round of counseling. For further details regarding cutoff, counseling, result of exam you can go through the following link:

Hello student,
As per your marks, if you come under ST category you have scored good marks and there are more chances of getting seats under your required course and mainly it depends on seat allotment by university and also number of students above your scores too.

Dear aspirant,
The cutoff for PET BHU shall be around 180 according to previous year cutoff trends. So you have a fair chance of getting admission. However the seats are very less. Thus the admission completely depends upon availability of seats. I suggest you stay till second third round of counselling.
Also you can visit official website of various colleges for further details regarding admission/ counseling procedure.
Regards!!

Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
