Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University both are one of best universities in India. Both are comparable but Delhi University is surely better than Banaras Hindu University. However you can also choose based on which is nearest to your home. Even Delhi University is also more economical and also high ranked.

You know the cutoffs change every year so it is quite difficult to predict. As you told you have scored 124 marks in BLAT and you belong to general category, so going by last few years' Cutoffs, in 2019 the cutoff marks for general category students was around 156. And in 2018, the cutoff marks was 151 for general category. So if this year, the cutoffs stay in this range, then it would be difficult to get BA LLB in Bananas Hindu University. If you have any other quota, then there lies a chance of getting admitted. If this year, the cutoff decreases, you can secure a seat in BHU. Undergraduation Entrance Test of Banaras Hindu University was conducted on September 9, 10, 11 amd 14. However the University has not yet released any specific dates for releasing the result of the examination. Also the University has not yet released the answer key. For cracking BHU PET for botany , you  need to do the following:-

1. Study intermediate botany thoroughly.

2. Go through the notes and books given and prescribed by BHU professors for your discipline.

3. Solve last years question papers ( last 5-10 years).

4. Focus on systematic and classical botany.

For chemistry,

1. You need to have a good knowledge of chemistry which you studied in graduation

2. General sciences.

3. Last years question papers

Practice as much as you can. It'll always fetch you something:)

You see the cutoff marks vary every yeat depending upon the the difficulty level and the number of students appearing in the exam.

You do have a chance of getting admission though.
