BHU offers specialization in 10 courses and the eligibility criteria for different courses are different.The eligibility criteria for most of the courses is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Banras Hindu university provide BHU PET entrance test for Master in Zoology and Botany aspirants.The exam is conducted by BHU ,exam conducted in Online Mode .Time duration of exam is 2 hours.
If you wants to take admission then you should appear online test with 10th,+2,and +3 minimum 50% score in subjects of science.

For getting admission in BHU for any undergraduate course you need to clear the entrance exam with a good rank. No matter what you have scored in class 12th. Yes but your aggregate in each subject should be more then 50%.For clarity take an example..
Suppose student A has scored 92% in 12th boards but in the entrance exam of BHU he was only able to score 150/450. (entrance exam is conducted of 450 marks consisting of 150 questions carrying 3 marks each).
Now student B who has scored 71% in 12th boards has scored 255/450 in the entrance exam.
So obviously student B will get admission in BHU because of his marks.
I guess you have understood the concept.
And yes in the entrance exam negative marking is also there. You will be awarded 3 marks for a correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer and 0 for not attempting.

The admission to the M.Pharma course is done on the basis of score obtained in GATE examination.
Banaras Hindu University conducts Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Tests usually during May-June for admission to various courses. Admissions are done according to merit in the Entrance Tests, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements. Entrance Test Admission forms are issued by the office of the Controller of Examinations usually in February-March every year. The Entrance Tests are held at National Level.
The selected candidates are called upon for counselling and are selected on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of combined score of GATE and counselling score.

BHU has one of the most beautiful and largest campus the campus is full of greenery well maintained clean and classroom are spacious and all departments are well equipped with modern lab libraries and smart classrooms a central library with lakhs of books and journals campus structured with modern facilities and heritage structure
It has welle quipped infrastructure includes libraries, health centre free of cost medical assistance, hostel with minimum fees mess food with hygiene and varients provided. The campus has a government hospital also. Good transportation nearby and etc.
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
