Hello dear student !
Both , Allahabad University as well as Banaras Hindu University, are very renowned universities of India. And both are excellent in terms of infrastructure, academics and faculties. Though Allahabad University is also known as "Oxford of the east" , and is fourth oldest university of India, but Banaras Hindu University has great name and fame. It has very large campus and that also includes IIT as we as medical college.
So you can definitely prefer BHU if you want to seek opportunities in academic field.
But if you want some political field exposure and civil servant than you can prefer Allahabad University.
Hope this will help you!
BHU has one of the most beautiful and largest campus the campus is full of greenery well maintained clean and classroom are spacious and all departments are well equipped with modern lab libraries and smart classrooms a central library with lakhs of books and journals campus structured with modern facilities and heritage structure
It has welle quipped infrastructure includes libraries, health centre free of cost medical assistance, hostel with minimum fees mess food with hygiene and varients provided. The campus has a government hospital also. Good transportation nearby and etc.
Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
