Basically percentage for any courses from DU depends on the passing percentage of the student generally if many people got 95 percentage so cutoff for this course goes high if only some people get high percentages then the cut off of these  course little bit low, but I can give you a rough idea as far as general category is considered so you need to score at least 98% in your 12th board examination for having chemistry Honours course from the best colleges of DU, if we compare Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University for these traditional courses  so you need to know that Delhi University is famous for traditional courses.

Eligibility Criteria requires :
B.A. (Hons.)/ B.A. under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.A. level. The subject in which admission is sought must be a Hons. subject at B.A. (Hons.) level/subject studied in all the three parts at B.A. level.

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU-PET) conducted by the university.

For BTech admissions into IIT BHU you'll have to crack JEE advanced. JEE mains is the exam you need to give inorder to get qualify for jee advanced. Then for jee advanced you need to solve Higher level maths, physics and chemistry problems apart from NCERT.

Let me tell you in a nutshell about all the tops n tricks that may lead to ur success

1. Go through all the previously years question papers of the entrance test. BHU provides previous online test papers in it's own official site. U must go through it
2. Secondly after roughly analysing the question papers look for the syllabus available for the entrance in it's official site.
3. Now u have completed 50%of ur tasks. After collecting all the above information start preparing according to the pattern of the exam
4. Don't forget to practice the mocks. they are the key to any competitive exam. U may practice the previous question papers as well the books available in the markets
5. Dont forget ur basic concept is all u need to get through. U not looking for IIT. So just clear all your doubts . Command over formulae. N numerical is a must to do thing

let me clear your doubt.

Here you have not mentioned your category. So for general category and obc category a candidate must have atleast 50 percent marks in graduation and for sc, st it is 45 percent marks for taking admission in bhu for mba. Also you have to qualify entrance exam like cat, mat with good score to take admission in bhu for mba.

Well you do not have to worry about that because BHU releases admit cards of different courses at different time frames. One might be available more early and the other one a bit late. So if one is available then keep checking, the other one will be available soon as well.

Well as far as I know then BHU being a central University has the provisions of providing sports quota admission to students. So if you have this great ability then you should take benefit of it and can go for any course you want with low cut off.

Well as being a BHU student, I would like to tell you that the faculty and placement of BHU for law students is not that good at all. It is better if you go on and apply to any better law college or for for NLUs.  Yes the brand name will be there of being the third best university but the education level will not be that good.

Well 46 seems to be a good rank but as this is your female category rank, so still you have certain chances of getting a seat in Mahila Mahavidyalaya. But as far as main campus is concerned, there also you may get a seat but the chances are not that much certain.
