As far as I know there are around 43 seats in the MA linguistics department in BHU. Your rank is good enough to fetch you a seat but it also depends on ther factors like half of these 43 seats are for reserved candidates so there must be around

For M.Sc. botony program in BHU , every year cut off chances . Cut off decided by according to rank of student . Different category have different cut off . As you not mentioned your category here . 

You need to visit for cut off detail -

You will get both general rank and EWS category rank separately.

If you have received a call letter from Banaras Hindu University and your rank is good enough then you must attend the counselling because your name will be called both under then unreserved category and also under the EWS
