Best teaching faculties available and curriculum updates in regularly basis. I pursued my BA Social Science and education I get is helping me a lot while preparing for state pcs. Doing good in academics increase the chance of placement
For placement institute like azim premzi came for placement drives Students want to pursue graduation in foreign language they get a huge chance of placement company like amazon hire students from the faculty
This is a central university,it provides different course and are pocket friendly
Amazing wonderful
One of the best in every aspect
First, University,in my opinion,do not lack basic amenities which include clean and safe drinking water,24×7 hours uninterrupted electricity supply whether it is in department or hostel or cyber library. As being a student of geography for two years we got see laboratory which is quite well maintained but they can bring in more new equipments as per with evolving needs. When we talk of Sports infrastructure you will see Indoor sports complex as well outdoor facilities.Mess system need improvcement
Economics was my subject to be specialised in third year.I wish to study it because it fascinated aa I was curious to how market runs ,what is impact of demand and supply chain in peoples life. How studying a Economic paper cam help in improving condition of marginalised section of society.I think there is urgent need of syllabus updation as it does not match with applied economics we see ever evolving world.Till completion of graduation your basic is ready but need more polishing for job-ready.
Placement from our college is quite respectable as it houses IIT BHU ,IMS ,Fine arts and many more.I will be frank here most of the placement takes from IIT BhU.I think Two students from IIT was offered close to 2.5 to 3 crore per annum.I chose higher study after studying in BHU ,can't say much about placement.
My course was costing around 6 -7 thousand per year leaving aside MESS charge which was close to 3500 hundred.Even students coming from humble background are accommodative .I feel my course was Worth my money as you can easily figure out from above given fee it is win for you.
Campus life was fantastic and I enjoyed every moments of it when I studied there. But every thing has its own positive and negative aspects..Positive points-large numbers of hostel , environment is well and peaceful ,large ground as well Indoor complex, uninterrupted supply of water and electricity,AC library etc,Bus services.Negative-Equipments of classroom are not so well maintained, food of hostels can be improved ,overcrowded students in single classroom,no.of smartclass room is not adequate.
the facility at bhu is of very good standard.clases are equiped with all the modern facility.bhu have very good central library and also faculty librrary.whole campus have wifi.in front of every hostle there is one sports ground equiped with all the facility.cleaniness and greenery of bhu is one that one will like the most
teachers are well qualified ,campus has good environment of research and higher studies.teachers are very cooperative .classes are very interactive .there is the regular visit of foreign faculty and prominient personality in there research fied.
in humanities the chances of getting placed are low as very less company visit the campus to recruit .but the situation in other stream is comparatively nice ,but the chances of getting high salary placement is veery less
bhu is very reasonable for poor student.cost per the facility provided are very nice.fee of the university is very much government subsidised.the fooding and hostle charges are very much reasonable
greenery ,cafeteria ,playground ,hostle facility all gives maximum chances for the overall improvement of the student .enough time to chill with friends.the neary by ganga ghhat provide good place for refreshment
if you want to experience knowledge with spirituality and the vitality of life one must come to varanasi and bhu (the capital of knowledge)
The College has all the required necessities of a student. It's basic amenities include library, hostels, swimming pool, basketball courts , laboratories etc. The classrooms are maintained properly and are clean.
I am currently pursuing Bcom hons from Banaras Hindu University. The professors here are cooperative and supportive. The teaching quality is good. Does it make the student job ready??? Not always but yes mostly.
Since I am in the first year , I don't have much knowledge about the placements but our seniors say that the placements are average. And also placements to a large extent depends upon the course you are pursuing.
Talking about the fee structure, the fee is cheaper for the main campus students and a bit higher for the affiliated colleges. And then again the fee structure depends on the course you are going to pursue.
Our college has a lot of greenery and it's very airy also. Talking about the activities so there are ample of feasts, programs arranged by the college. Students are free to participate in any and as many activities as they can.
It's a good opportunity to get into this College and then the professors guide the students to bring the best out of the students potential. There is a friendly environment.l, Placements are good, staffs are polite .
The infrastructure of bhu is one of the best in the country. The college has all the amenities to enhance the skills of the students(sports, arts everything). The campus provides 4g wifi upto 4gb/day to each student. The common area and the garden are well maintained.the library In the campus has a huge collection of books.hostel is alloted to the students according to their rank in the entrance exam.the hostel and mess facilities are decent.
I am a ba.llb student here in law of faculty, bhu.the professors are well qualified and approachable. moot court and debates are conducted to sharpen the students skill which will help them to perform well when they enter their profession.
As I am a first year student i don't have much idea about the placements.we do have a placement cell which helps with the placements and internships.last year few of them got placed through the campus placement cell.
The fee is 60k/year.
One of the oldest and most beautiful University of India in one of the most beautiful city...it totally looks like we are living in a Raj Mahal it's an old infrastructure, one can spend his whole life there without getting home sick ..
Most knowledgeable PHD's of all time, thier way of teaching is very unique and effective, teacher are alway supportive to students.. they always tell us to follow the way instead of focusing on results...
Placements are not so good l, but they built a good caliber in students... every time where ever I go and tell them that I m from BHU...there expectations for us go from 0-100 in no time. Every one wants to hire from BHu in that area
College has a very huge , green campus with all the facilities and equipment. It has proper classrooms , sport centres and central library. The campus is always kept clean and maintained well. It's very hygenic.
I am currently pursuing bcom hons here. The faculty is very nice and helpful. One can always get their problems solved without any hesitation. The teaching staff is very supportive. Curriculum is updated as well.
Campus placement is done here. The college even helps student to get through the exams and interviews. There are groups for that. The salary offered is quite decent. It has value for money. After completing course from here one can easily be employed.
Great availability of academic facilities i.e Class Room, Library , Computer Lab ETC . Highly spaceous for students studying there. Good play grounds available which enables playing cricket ,basketball, football etc
Academic Faculty is good with highly experienced teachers . Good Library for access to various kinds of books. Students get their queries cleared from respective qualified teachers . Teachers give broader aspect of every topics to enable proper understanding .
Studying here gives good chance of placement in various companies. Quality education gained surely helps clear various competitive exams which are road to good Jobs . Alumni of this college have brought laurels in every fields.
Highly economical for those studying there. Even poor economical background students are able to pursue study here which is a good sign of prosper of every strata of society . Basic amenities are cheaper here including fair rent for rooms .
The academical environment is pure and opportunistic. Life here is highly balanced . Overall development of students are possible both physically and mentally .Availability of the India's best hospital is indeed boon for both students and civilians.
If ever you get a chance to study in BHU let the opportunity not go waste .
Yes,the college is having all the necessary infrastructure for the holistic development of the students. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with wi-fi facilities which provides suitable environment in learning. There are 20-25 grounds and its libraries are rich in resources. Living spaces are cleaned regularly which provides environment for conducive environment for the learning.
I am studying Geography because I am having interest in it.The quality of teaching is excellent as the most of the professor are competent enough to impart the knowledge according tp the need of this changing environment.Curriculaum is updated.
Quality of placement is not good considering college's stature. As Only a few students from discplines such as Economics , Statistics, chance to get placed, Rural development gets Placed.College is not very supportive in placement.
The fee is minimal considering the quality of education it imparts to the learner. In nutshell, one can say it does more than I takes in the form of money.Considering infrastructure and other facilities it provides ,the fee is more than justifiable.
The campus is enchanting having greenery all around. The campus is ragging free and it is spacious and hence it provides enough space for the students.students can engage in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for their grooming .
If you are willing to study in the college, this is the best place .
BHU and Banaras the combined vibes of both the places make the graduation from BHU a memorable experience. It has all the necessary infrastructure from classrooms, hostels, 24x7 WIFI, playground. greenery and in fact it is the largest residential campus of Asia. it has online library too which facilitates student with online book and ..all the hostels are we planned and provides amazing environment for the student to grow and every hostel has got its on wifi and playground too.
All the professors are indulged in imparting the best possible education to the students. They are very cooperative and ready to help student whenever they needed. Syllabus of BHU is in such a way that student can prepare easily for UPSC, states PCS by following curriculum of college, but curriculum of BHU need to be updated.
There is no placement in BA. But you can prepare for government exam very easily, because of good environment for study in cyber library, computer center. Placement are their in another course like MBA, Rural development, Agriculture Department.
Value of money for BA course is very less. For BA, the cost of course is about 7000 for three years, You will never regret about spending money because of quality of education provided here.
Campus of college is outstanding. College is full of greenery. Student can participate in Co-curricular activities like singing, dancing, quiz, debate , games individually and in group too. Staff are very cooperative and kind to us.

Hello, for a 3 year LLB Degree at Banaras Hindu University, the fee is very nominal. The annual tuition fee is around Rupees 600, while total semester wise charges, including other minor fees range from rupees 1500 to 2300 per semester. This makes BHU one of the most affordable options for pursuing an LLB, compared to other private law colleges. Additional costs for hostel and mess are separate, but the overall academic expense is quite low. Hope this helps!
Hello,
For a BCom (Hons) at Delhi University (DU), you must take one language from List A and a combination of three subjects from List B, with specific combinations like Language + Mathematics + any two from List B or Language + Accountancy + any two from List B being most common. For the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the subject combination for BCom (Hons) involves taking one language and three domain subjects related to commerce in the CUET exam.
I hope it will clear your query!!
