This diversity makes it one of the India's top universities for interdisciplinary studies .The professor are well qualified and they are excellent in their particular field
It has a robust placement cell that caters to different faculties and departments.FMS BHU has seen consistent placement around 80-85%of students securing jobs during the campus drive. The average package for engineering graduates is around INR 14-15 LPA
I have completed my postgraduation in just 4000
BHU is a dream college for every student as it provides best education and provide 90% campus placement
We get a 4 Gb Wi-Fi hotspot with sort of average connection. There are separate UG and PG labs and enough dental chairs for clinical practice. There are no air-conditioners in the UG lab but PG labs are properly maintained having air-conditioners and fully functional dental chairs. Classrooms are fine having smart classes but no air-conditioner.
Our teachers are very well qualified and experienced. All the teachers are very helpful and supportive. Course is specified by the dental council of India. The clinal posting prepares you well for the future. The exams are fine not too difficult and the pass percentage is also quite fine
There is no company placement in dental sciences but the passed-out seniors are in good position, so it's quite well. Apart from that, when you initiate a clinic, the BHU name is enough to show that you are skilled. So overall, it is a good field.
Campus was well maintained
Excellent quality environment for extra curricular activity. Food quality is the best. Hostel rooms are smaller than average. Yes, many issues such as non availability of proper security to avoid mobile snatching and burgalary. Security related funds get consumed by hostel warden.
Mm jTeachers are friendly with students and always available to guide them. Teachers are very friendly. It's a 3-year course with semester systems. This course prepares students to build the ability to work in the industry as well as to perform well in the GATE exam.
Around 40% of students got placed through college placements. The average package offered is 18 20 LPA. 80% of students got internships in different companies like ONGC, Oil India, NCMRWF, IITM, etc. Top recruiting company is ONGC. Students are offered the roles of geophysicist etc.
Yes value for the money ????
Events-aakanksha. Crowd is huge. Poor links between the department. Extracurricular activity funds are best.
Good facilities are provided by BHU administration. All BHU campus is wi-fi connectivity with good speed, each subject has a separate department and separate library, classrooms are hygienic and facility of a projector, mess food is average and one-time diet charge is 50, good sports facility in the hostel but hostel infrastructure is poor.
The teachers of BHU are very helpful. All the teachers are well qualified from IITs and Central Universities with a PhD degree. They also take dought session. To pass in semester exam, students need to secure at least 60/100 marks.
After graduation, there are very less or negligible placements. If you study well, then you get a scholarship and you can crack IIT JAM and get a good IIT college and placement. In the past few years, placements have decreased after master's courses
Yes value for the money ????
Currently, I pursue B.Sc. in mathematics hons with Physics mathematics geology combination, the course is well designed but some areas should be improved like the presentation of the project.
Wi-Fi, classes and hostel conditions are on an average level. New projects have been taken for development of infrastructure structures, academic centres, and other developments. Campus proctoring has been increased in last few years. Departments have advanced laboratories with highly advanced equipments .
Faculty members are just OP as they are graduates from other IITs and foreign universities. They are highly qualified professors. Curriculum is competitive and relative grading is done and the students get CPI. Semester exams are not so difficult and if you have attended all the classes then you can pass easily and get a good CPI.
90% of the students were placed this year from my branch with an average package of 18LPA and the highest package of 1.25CPA. The lowest package offered was 3LPA. Top recruiters were Tata Steel, NHAI, and other government companies. Internship opportunities are too good with nearly 40-50% students getting it from the campus only.

So yes I am an Arts student of the esteemed BHU. The faculties are great ( teachers are soft spoken and understanding) infact it's libraries is one of the biggest library of India . Though English' matter was less as compared to other subjects . The whole BHU is wifi zomed , and infact it is in hostels and libraries too. We have a cyber library which is open 24*7. The hostels were good ,well maintained and equipped with facilities of almost 3-4 water coolers ,which gave water . It was cleaned regularly just like the common bathrooms. Foods are great . I don't know about other affiliated college or hostel but in MMV ' S hostel they used to give us 4 meals from Mon- Saturday. In Sunday they used to give breakfast and chicken in lunch , but as the cook also needs a holiday of atleast half day so they don't used to prepare the dinner . We need to loose some bucks from our pocket.
It is net oriented but no scope for experimenting new fields . But it is good for me as I have to crack UGC with conventional knowledge not that high fi experimental knowledge. Atleast it makes exam ready which eventually leads you to job selecion .
Good placement opportunities. Well IITs andIms has excellent package . The arts and social sciences section is not that much well placed. It need some work , but as it is in the centre of Banaras city you can go to other companies for lookout .
It has paid seats and non paid seats and just like other central universities the costing is not too much. The hostel cost (food + caution ) is also minimal I guess it was 150 in 2032 per day .
It depends from person to person. I was a well frog but the student there are kind and helpful.
Just one word -- the most peaceful experience than my master's degree
The campus boasts a modern and expansive library that caters to various academic needs. The availability of quiet study zones, group study rooms, and multimedia resources ensures that students can find the perfect environment for their study sessions
Faculty members and the course curriculum are nice. Faculty members are from IITs and NITs. They are highly qualified. Many of them are also PhD holders. which has good standards. We do also have labs for performing experiments, and they encourage learning through practical applications.
Students benefit from the rigorous academic curriculum and extensive industry exposure through internships and projects. With all those internships and projects we learned great project source and developed our skillset Even though placements are not direct, they'll help you in every way possible
Infrastructure of the college is very good. Nice classrooms. There is a good library for studying. Food is also good. They are charging per year for a four-seater room without food is little high.. Prices have increased.
All the faculty members in our college is having good knowledge and interact with students. Faculty and student ratio is 3:25.few faculty explain classes in power point presentation. Academics are good. Curriculum is prepared according to industry related.
About 80% students get placed in our college and 100% student got internship in many reported companies with stipend. My qualify packages 43 lpa and the lowest packages 2.5 LP and the average salary packages 6.25 lpa. Many company Vijay tower campus for placement like Amazon Accenture Microsoft TCS IBM etc.

Hello, for a 3 year LLB Degree at Banaras Hindu University, the fee is very nominal. The annual tuition fee is around Rupees 600, while total semester wise charges, including other minor fees range from rupees 1500 to 2300 per semester. This makes BHU one of the most affordable options for pursuing an LLB, compared to other private law colleges. Additional costs for hostel and mess are separate, but the overall academic expense is quite low. Hope this helps!
Hello,
For a BCom (Hons) at Delhi University (DU), you must take one language from List A and a combination of three subjects from List B, with specific combinations like Language + Mathematics + any two from List B or Language + Accountancy + any two from List B being most common. For the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the subject combination for BCom (Hons) involves taking one language and three domain subjects related to commerce in the CUET exam.
I hope it will clear your query!!
