72 MonthsPh.D. program in Tourism and Travel Studies shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. This Ph.D. program offered by Berhampur University.
Eligibility Criteria
The Department offers doctoral programs in Political Science. Candidates seeking admission into the Doctoral course are required to possess an M. A. Degree in Political Science with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates so qualified for the Research program have to undergo a six-month course work and clear the same by securing at least 50% marks in each paper in order to become eligible to apply for registration.
Admission Details
A candidate in order to enroll for Ph. D. must be a Post Graduate or above in Mathematics securing given percentage of marks as per the prospectus and has to qualify any one of the following:
• University Research Entrance Test
• CSIR-UGC NET
• Award of DST-INSPIRE fellowship /NBHM fellowship /RGN fellowship /MAN fellowship
• Viva-voce/Interview
