As many as 22 National Law Universities and approximately more than 500 Private and Self financing Law Colleges across India conduct admissions based on CLAT score. Unlike NEET or JEE which have subject preference, CLAT has no subject preference in 12th. Candidates can pursue any stream in their 12th and still be eligible for CLAT. But if the examination is cancelled, selecting Candidates for admission becomes a hefty task. So cancelling an entrance examination which is the gateway for lakhs of students for studying LAW is not possible. And at this point in time, the last date for filling the CLAT applications is July 1st. So we have to wait too hear officially about this. Until then, please do concentrate on your preparation and do not fall prey to any social media news. Your source of information should be always the official website.
