An Honours degree in Mathematics today enjoys the status of being one of the most sought after undergraduate degrees not just because it can provide excellent career options, but also because Mathematics is a discipline which inherently promotes the ability to analyse, think logically, model and solve problems. It also has far reaching applications in real life. These are as varied as analysis of election results, predicting weather, modelling and imaging diseases, security protocols used in email, online and credit and debit card transactions. Mathematics also has applications in many other disciplines of the Sciences and Social Sciences and Humanities.


Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed the class XII or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board and secured a minimum of 65% in Mathematics.

Admission Details

The selection will be based on merit on the basis of the marks obtained in class XII, which will not include any vocational subject.
