I'm studying about fisheries science to understand the dynamics of underwater ecosystem. The teaching quality is very good. The professors are very supportive. The curriculum is updated and the quality of teaching along with the field visits makes us job-ready.

    College Infra

The college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms have smart boards, wi-fi connections, etc.. The laboratories are well equipped with all the latest instruments. The library has necessary sitting arrangements and also all the books needed for the course. Sports centres conducts intercolleges sports competitions once a year and students get selected for nationals also. The hostels have enough rooms to accomodate all the students but the sanitation needs to be upgraded and the food quality also.

    Campus Life

The best features of college is it's labs and course structure and the worst are the hostel timing for girls. In summer the timing is 6 pm and in winter, it's 5:30. Also we couldn't even get out of hostels on leave days. Both the teaching and non-teaching staffs are good and supporting for every kind of emergencies.

    Placements

Placement is good and takes place in good companies. Percentage is low as most students choose to go for higher studies. The salary package offered was 35k/ month for 1 year and then 60k/month later onwards. Placement processes are also very smooth and supported by the college.

    Value For Money

The fee is very minimum and also there is zero hostel charge which makes it very affordable for all students. At my time the fee per semester was between 7-9k depending on the semesters. The fee was very low and easy for students with all backgrounds.

I'm studying B.sc ag hons natural farming here. This is a very potential course and it is also being led by our prime minister. As for theory they teaches good but for practical they doesn't come forward for this too much. There is very less number of practical classes. I hope it will be resolved in later times. Study tour is also our part of study. We get to go somewhere for study purpose.

    College Infra

As per a outsider our university looks too good but as I'm a student here in department of School of Natural Farming, I get to know weaknesses of University also. As for my department, there is no proper infrastructure provided, we are adjusting in sugarcane research institute. Classrooms are good but it lacks podium, projectors and all. Lab is not fully furnished. As for other departments, they have proper infrastructure and almost all the equipments students need. Two more departments are there which lack equipments for study, they are department of Food Nutrition and Dietetics and Department of B.tech biotechnology. But there is one positive thing, hygiene is maintained in this university properly

    Campus Life

There are many opportunities in this campus if you are interested. Campus vibe is too good here, all greenery and all. Professors encourages students to write research papers, engage in potential sports if interested. Location is bit of local but almost every agricultural University is situated in local areas so I don't complain about this. Yeah it is safe but can't handle emergencies properly as proper hospital is not here, it's almost 20 km away.

    Placements

Placement in my department is good and overall it is good also. I don't about exact percentage about how much of students have gotten placements but there are plenty students wo have gotten placements. College is supportive for these things. Professors help as much as they can help to us.

    Value For Money

Almost 17 thousands rupees is my fees per semester. And I think this is not worth it. As mentioned above if practical classes would be included more it will be wort it
