Thank you..
Dear student,
This is to inform you that there is existence of state domicile in RMLNLU, and thus the cut off for each year varies accordingly and keeps on changing each year.
Also a good rank for general category is ranging between 200 to 500 for the first round while in the second round it gets closed at around 600.
There is no passing marks for CLAT. It is a national entrance exam for Law. The cut-off percentage changes every year for different colleges. Earlier the total exam was out of 200. But now, since 2021, the total marks have been changed to 150. So, to get into the top NLUs, you need to attain a rank preferably within 1000.
Hello,
You haven't mentioned if you are seeking admission to UG or PG course. Based on the information provided by you in your profile we consider that you are seeking admission to PG course. Last year a candidate with rank 308 belonging to OBC category (Home state- UP) secured admission to PG course in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. Based on the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in the preferred NLU with the rank that you have secured. But the cut off may increase or decrease this year depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hi, Hemant.
Regarding your query, I just checked RMLNLU's official website and they have uploaded a notification and a google form link (inside the notification pdf) for entertaining EWS of UP candidates (it is a willingness form to appear for the vacant seats on spot counselling process). I think you should check it out as soon as possible and fill it up, for this you will need to scan and upload some of your documents - CLAT score card, CLAT admit card and your EWS of UP certificate so keep them ready when you decide to fill the form.
As for the notification, you will find it on the official RMLNLU website's CLAT 2020 admissions page which is very clearly visible on the front page itself.
I sure hope you get admission in one of the NLUs and best of luck for your law school journey!
Hello aspirant
Congratulations on achieving this rank in CLAT. You have a good rank, but I'm not very sure if you can get a seat in RMLNLU, lucknow via defence quota, but to know about this or any other college, you can check out the below given link:

All the best.
In 2019, an All India Rank of 4259 was the Opening Rank for SC Category for Ram Manohar Lohiya Law University after Round 1. The Closing rank was 10948. This can be roughly translated to 60-90 marks. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year, So for a seat in this College with SC reservation, you should atleast aim for 80-100 marks. This is because this year CLAT has been postponed giving Candidates longer time for preparation and so the competition is going to be tougher. With higher competition, the cut offs also will increase. Hence you should atleast target 80-100.
