In order to get admission in GITAM University, it is compulsory to answer the entrance exam called GITAM GAT conducted by the university. Note that although JEE Mains is conducted for BTech admission at national level for colleges across India, this college has  limited seats and only 3 campuses in India. Therefore, JEE Mains and IPE scores are not valid for GITAM university for BTech admission.

No, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam does not accept JEE Main Score for admission into B.Tech courses.

This university accepts COMEDK UGET and GITAM GAT scores for admission into B.Tech courses.

No GITAM Visakhapatnam offers a number of undergraduate programmes in the field of Engineering through GAT UGTP.

For the majority of UG courses, candidates are required to pass Class 12 from a recognised or affiliated board as the basic eligibility criteria. The deemed University conducts GAT UGTP and GOT to offer admission to most of its UG courses.

B.Tech, B.Pharmacy

• Admission to these courses will be done through the GITAM Admission Test
• For B.Tech courses, candidates can also apply through other entrance examinations like JEE Main, AP EAMCET or TS EAMCET.
• Candidates have to apply for the programme through an online application process.
• Candidates have to appear for the entrance test (GAT (UGPT)/JEE Mains/AP EAMCET)

You can get admission into GITAM  college without even GITAM exams . So you just need a good 10+2 marks as GITAM is a private college and considers admission on 12th marks also. According to the marks you have score in the exam of GITAM, you can easily get your desired branch.But for GITAM, Vishakhapatnam the cutoffs are generally high so you might get other GITAM college. GITAM GAT exam is the entrance examination which is conducted by GITAM University for admission to its various programmes. GITAM GAT 2020 dates have been passed.
