Dear Student,

Both the colleges are very good in this stream. But as per my opinion Vit is much better than Gitam for its infrastructure, faculties and placement. The campus is also very good in this college. The highest package offered in this institute is INR 39 Lakh per annum , offered by Microsoft. So many famous companies like Intel, Paypal , Microsoft etc come here for placement. The training of this institute is very good with its top class internships.

So, Vit must be a better choice.

Thank You.

Hii Aspirant,

According to your percentile your rank is going to be around 101340.

You can get admission in Gitam university. Not only you get admission through rank but you also can get through management quota. You will face no difficulty in getting admission there.

For cutoff and other details you can check the link below

Hope my answer helps you

hello aspirant

As your rank is 4100 in GITAM exam. There are very less chances of getting a seat in bhubaneshwar branch of GITAM in CSE but you can get seat allotted in the other branches like civil and mechanical according to the counselling. But if you only want CSE stream then probably you should pay the money for the payment seat and if not you can try for others streams in the same college.

all the best.

thank you

See, first of all this Artificial Intelligence is just a Marketing Gimmick and nothing more. It is just a normal Computer Science course with 4 or 5 new subjects which will add extra load on your Curriculum.

Coming to the list of colleges then i would suggest you to join VIT, only if you could get Vellore campus or max to max Chennai.

All the best!!

Hey!
90 percentile in jee mains might help you out to get admission in NIT but not with cse branch. And, around 48,000 rank is too much to get cse in vit Vellore however vit is well known for its cse placements but if you get cse  seat in vit Chennai then you must join it. Also, with 25k+,there are very less chances to get cs in srm but in anyway you are able to grab that then it's a miracle. To add on, Sastra University is considered better than some of NITs and there are chances for you to get CSE seat in there,so go for it.
Thank you

All the best!

Dear candidate,

I would suggest you to opt for better universities like VIT or SRM or BITS for Mechanical engineering. Because it’s worse in GITAM. Although you adjust or somehow manage and gain skills during engineering in GITAM but it’s highly unlikely that you would land in your core company through campus placements.

Hello aspirant,

The placements for mechanical branch in gitam university is decent. Around 50 to 60 percent of the students get placed with a average salary of 3.5 lac per annum.Companies like HBL Power Systems, TCS, Deloitte , Infosys, Amar Raja and SGD pharma visit the campus.
If you are looking for a core job then it will be difficult but if you want to get into a softwate job then you can definitely get a placement.
