SRM and VIT are pretty much same in academics and has the same employability record. Both offers excellent courses and provides lots of opportunities. But one is located in chennai and the other one is in vellore. It's up to you whether you want to live in a city or not so city ,otherwise both of them are pretty much same.(Chennai is a very underrated city and there are lot of misconceptions circling about it . In reality it's one of the best livable cities in the country. On the other hand, vellore is calm where you can stay peacefully).

Manipal university is ofcourse a topnotch college in the country and all the courses here are very decent. The university's reputation has always been consistence and pretty much good for researching.

GITAMS falls behind these three universities and better prefer vishakapattanam(vizag) over Hyderabad. Courses here are decent but the college doesn't have a global recognization as above three.

All the best

Hello there!

First of first for persuing higher education you must have a good percentage on your previous attended exam, so that you will have a higher chances of getting admission in the top most college or university

Srm, vit, amritha, and githam all are good colleges and the their certificates are highly valuable. As you know that vit has a higher place. I think it will have a high value. The rate of placements of vit are higher compared to all other colleges that you have mentioned. So, it may play a vital role in landing the job you seek!

I hope this will help

Goodluck!

Can you please elaborate ? Which university u are talking about so that we can give u valuable suggestions. Hoping for your response. Thank u.

For doing MBA, one needs to complete his/her graduation first with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. To be eligible for MBA, your graduation subject or discipline doesn't matter so much. Diploma course isn't equivalent to graduation. But one needs to be graduate if he/she wishes to do MBA. But polytechnic is not an undergraduate degree, its a diploma programme. As you have done polytechnic, you can go for engineering in relevant branch and diploma holders easily get lateral entry to third semester of the course. Apart from engineering you can also opt for other undergraduate courses, but doing engineering would be great as you haven't done your 12 and other undergraduate programmes will be admitted students on the basis of 12th marks. So if you go for engineering, after completion of your course, you can surely apply for MBA. Most of the MBA Colleges in India offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT etc followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. As MBA is a post graduation programme, you have to complete your graduation first.

Hello,

As stated on the official College website the discussion about caste discrimination is as follows.

The university was named after Gandhi - GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management and subsequently upgraded to a University) with a view to uphold and instill his values. By virtue of its 36 plus years of meritorious service in the educational sector, it has today, carved a niche for itself and gained reputation as a learning centre for creating an academically enriching and learning experience for the stake holders. It recognizes talent and even offers a fee waiver to meritorious students.

The management takes stringent measures to ensure a peaceful atmosphere and safe ambience on the campus. In case there is a situation wherein the student/faculty feels let down or humiliated due to some callous comment of someone or if he/she feels that they are being targeted by a particular faculty/peers due to their extremist and biased belief in caste, the person can lodge a complaint in the prescribed form that will reach a senior University official, which will be followed by an enquiry for justice to be delivered.

Hope this helps
