I would suggest you to opt for better universities like VIT or SRM or BITS for Mechanical engineering. Because it’s worse in GITAM. Although you adjust or somehow manage and gain skills during engineering in GITAM but it’s highly unlikely that you would land in your core company

GITAM is a good college which is ranked 9th in terms of universities. It has accreditation of NAAC A+. It is a Private college and has facilities of Hostel, library, sports facilities, auditorium etc.  I t has good reviews from students too. College is nice for placements and recruiters

SRM and VIT are pretty much same in academics and has the same employability record. Both offers excellent courses and provides lots of opportunities.But one is located in chennai and the other one is in vellore. It's up to you whether you want to live in a city or not
