Started functioning in 2002, the department is a major academic host offering B. Tech.in Chemical Engineering. The department is endowed with young, vibrant and dynamic faculty well qualified to impart high-quality teaching and research in Chemical Engineering. The research interests of the faculty vary broadly ranging from nanoscale to mesoscale systems/technology that may demand a collaborative approach with Chemistry, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Computing, and Electronics.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

Students are selected for admission to the above programmes through Joint Entrance Examination for IITs (IIT-JEE-Advance).

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is really good and at most places, you will get Wi-Fi. The library is also excellent. It's very comfortable reading in the library. The classroom is good, facilities are good—everything is good. In the hostel, you will get sufficient washing machines and a water cooler on each floor.
