Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

The department has started the B. Tech. programme in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) from the year 2008. The programme aims at producing engineers with sound knowledge in electrical engineering and a strong background in electronics.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

I am sharing my own experience in IIT GUWAHATI after spending 1yr. Infrastructure of IIT GUWAHATI is top noch as being top IIT. All classrooms and laboratories are air conditioned. All laboratories are well maintained with modern facilities and essentials.

College Infrastructure

Despite of being in north-east (making high altitude buildings here is quite risky here), IIT GUWAHATI has excellent infrastructure. it has all necessary infra with 5 core department sections(containing 12 different departments), a research building, an auditorium(1500 capacity), an fully wifi library, computer centre, a central gym,17 hostels all equipped with their own mess, gym, library, games room,. almost every place has wifi.classrooms are digital with projector screens.food is quite good.
