Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have Minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class in the qualifying degree, fulfilling specific requirements for different disciplines, as indicated below:
- All regular category candidates (except those having BTech degrees from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0) must possess a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For eligibility for financial assistance for regular category candidates, please see the section “Financial Support” below.
- Minimum experience required for Sponsored (Full-time) and Part-Time categories of candidates has also been indicated below.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or Equivalent or MSc(Electronics) or Graduates (AMIETE) from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and a valid GATE score in EC/EE

College Infrastructure
IIT G have the best campus . It's has different and multiple labs for every department. The wifi collage has wifi. The hostel rooms are single rooms with proper rooms , washing machine and a security system.
