Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have Minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class in the qualifying degree, fulfilling specific requirements for different disciplines, as indicated below:

All regular category candidates (except those having BTech degrees from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0) must possess a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For eligibility for financial assistance for regular category candidates, please see the section “Financial Support” below.
Minimum experience required for Sponsored (Full-time) and Part-Time categories of candidates has also been indicated below.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in an appropriate area and a valid GATE score in:
CE for the specializations of (i) Structural Engineering, (ii) Geotechnical Engineering, (iii) Environmental Engineering, (iv) Transportation Systems Engineering;
CE or AR for the specialization of Infrastructure Engineering and Managemen; and CE or AG for the specialization of Water Resources Engineering and Management only.

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in GATE, Group Discussion and personal interview

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is really good,at most places, you will get Wi-Fi. The library is also excellent. It's very comfortable reading in the library. The classroom is good, facilities are good—everything is good. In the hostel, you will get sufficient washing machines and a water cooler.
