72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the M.Sc. in Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics or B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc.(Engg.) in Engineering disciplines with a minimum first division or equivalent CGPA.
Admission Details
GATE qualification is desirable for M.Tech. degree holders, and essential for B.Tech. degree holders with exceptional academic credentials.
