72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
(i) B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
(ii) B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent degree in a branch of Engineering consistent with the research areas as mentioned by the Department from time to time.
(iii) M.Sc. in a discipline consistent with the research areas as mentioned by the Department from time to time.
The facilities and infrastructure are good. The old hostels of IIT Roorkee is good. And the mess food quality and taste is also good. some canteens' conditions are very nice. IIT Roorkee's medical and sports facilities are good.
I have already done my masters from the same college and again I have done PhD from the indian institute of technology Roorkee. There was a library where all students can sit and do study without disturbance.
