Hi,

In my opinion you should go for UIET EEE.

EEE from UIET would be better in respect to future Perspective. As recently 3 student of EEE branch got a package of 12LPA through GATE. And also if you wanna have a masters from foreign university it would be much better as Panjab University is a recognised university.

UIET Chandigarh benefits :-

  1. BETTER CAMPUS FACILITIES
  2. BEST PLACEMENTS
  3. BETTER CO-CIRCULAR ACTIVITIES
  4. PREPARING YOU FOR PLACEMENTS
  5. WORKSHOPS
  6. EXPERIENCED FACULITY
  7. NICE ENVIROMENT, WHERE YOU CAN FIND STUDENT’S FROM ALL OVER INDIA EVEN FOREIGN STUDENTS ALSO
  8. INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP’

WELL UIET IS TOTALLY INCREDILBLE WHEN IT COMES TO PLACEMENTS, SO DON’T EVEN THINK AND GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY.

Thank for query

for b.pharm its ₹3,70,000 and for m.pharm it’s ₹3,78,000

After a diploma in engineering, how can I get admission for a B.Tech at Jamia Milia Islamia?
I could answer this question in more relevant way.

My friend did diploma with me from Jamia and we passed in 2020 together. He worte mains and applied jamia B.Tech application form separately. Jamia B.Tech admission is based on the JEE mains score. He had ranks in lakhs but under the PWD quota he got the seat in electrical engineering. Somehow he was a good student.

Tips:

Start preparation from your 4th sem for JEE MAINS

check if you have any disability like low vision, hearing impairment, or physically challenged then make a disability certificate from your local district (govmt)

apply mains form under pwd quota

apply Jamia b.tech form under internal(if your diploma is from Jamia ), and under disability

If you are from OBC or other backward caste and you apply under some reservation quota then it increases the chances of getting a seat in Jamia. Moreover, if you are from General Category then even it could be possible but you only need to put some extra efforts.

Note: B.Tech in Jamia or any NIT will take complete four years after diploma engineering. No provision for lateral entry admission.

Feel free to ask if you have further doubts.

Thanks

Hi,

Jamia Milia Islamia, or JMI for short, is a Delhi-based central university. The institution was founded at Aligarh in 1920, and it was designated as a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. The Institution Grants Commission (UGC) has recognised the university, and it is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). JMI received a "A" grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Since its inception, the university has made significant growth and has established itself as one of the country's leading educational institutions.

According to the MHRD's latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020, Jamia is among the top ten universities in the country in terms of overall ranking. The university is ranked 28th in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2020, which is extremely excellent considering India has over 5000 engineering schools. JMI is a national institute/university (as defined by NIRF) that offers over 100 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and other programmes. JMI is well-known for its MA in Mass Communication, MBA, and B.Tech programmes.

After IIT Delhi, NSIT, and DTU in Delhi, Jamia is the top college for CSE. The teaching team is outstanding, and Jamia has a strong placement record.

Hope you are doing well.

As per your query, the eligibility criteria for Jamia Milia Islamia B.Tech admission is as such:

  • Academic Qualification -Passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 55% marks
  • Age - Not less than 17 years
  • Entrance Tes t- Candidate should have appeared in JEE Main for admission in that particular year.

hi, i think you should prefer cse at jamia millia islamia because the placements, infrastructure and faculty is top notch. CS placement rate is 90 to 95%, the labs, classes are well equipped. Also the 4 years fees will range to 60k to 70k which is moderate as compared to return on investment. Further if you need help, you can check out other colleges by this link-
