Jamia Malia Islamia is government college. Here so many courses are offered and BSC in mathematics one of them. Other two subjects with BSC in mathematics are physics and chemistry most common. You can choose computer science also. But I'll suggest you choose physics and chemistry because they are core zone. This is three years graduation course and 45 seats are available. I would suggest you to download syllabus and understand the exam pattern.After that you need to understand the question type in entrance exam.

NEST exam is not much difficulty because the syllabus is mainly from 11 and 12th. The level of difficulty is somewhere between Medium to difficulty

The level of difficulty  of JMI entrance is less than CAT but sometimes at par with CMAT & sometimes less than CMAT as well. It depends upon the year to year paper as they change their Level of difficulty

As per the marking scheme of JMI 2021, the candidates will be awarded with one mark for every correct answer. For every incorrect response, 0.25 mark will be deducted.

In Nest Section I - 50 Marks and Section II-IV - 50 Marks each and 1/4 marks deducted per incorrect response .

The difficulty level of both JMI entrance exam and NEST is somewhat similar. However the fact that JMI is very popular institute and lots of candidates apply for it with very limited number of seats makes it difficult. But if your preparation is good then you can crack both.Difficulty level doesn't matter if you preparation is good. Go through previous 5 year question papers of both the entrance exams and analyze it thoroughly. Note down the topics that are more relevant, repeated and carry more weightage and practice questions from those areas. Don't think about competition and give your best.
