jamia and iet , both are old and good colleges . 

if You have good hand in programming , pick up CSE and if you are not a computer student , go on with electrical . 

Both colleges and both branches are good , it is a tough choice though ! 

You should opt for the one you are more Interested to pursue because there are almost equal chances of placement and packages in both the branches . 

However , looking at the fee structure , Jamia is affordable .

The admissions to B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses is based on the rank obtained in JEE(Main). JMI has yet not released the dates for counseling sessions. But display of the List of Candidates Selected for Admission will probably be out in the second week of July.

Here's the eligibility criteria of JMI for B.tech:

• You must have passed Sr. Sec. School Certificate (10+2)/Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Must passed qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
• Minimum of 55% marks in PCM.
• You should not be less than 17 years on October 1 of the admission year.
