The campus overall is beautiful and well maintained. The classes however are still traditional in structure. Library is very convenient and well organized. The campus is really pleasant and the people are very helpful there.
The curriculum is good but hasn't been updated from a long time, Dissertations in humanities block need to be added. The classwork is efficient and there is a greater effort of exploring more by yourself. The syllabus really prepares one for entrances ahead.
Being in humanities didn't really get a personal experience of placement yet but being alumni of JMI students have really been placed at amazing opportunities and more often landing them into their dream jobs
The fee structure is extremely generous and affordable for all. The kind of facilities university offers really makes that fee and money worth it all.
Being in campus is really fun and very much social with all. The people are always ready to help and assist each other. There are various gatherings, activities during which all come together
It was just to good I love the infrastructure it is beautiful big Jamia has all the facilities and equipment clean classroom proper electricity proper water supply chilled water for summer hot water in winters libraries are just so good ut provides us ac there
I am studying diploma in electronics engineering and the quality of teaching was so nice teacher are highly educated and qualified with a lot of good teaching skills and experience The teaching techniques are all up dated
The quality of placement was quite nice the highest salary package goes for diploma is around 25k it was more than enough for a Pg student the average salary offered was around 12-15k Jamia was so supportive
My course cost 9500 per year and obviously it is worth of my money to study in such a good college in just a small amount of money it is totally worth of my money
College campus is just so beautiful had a lot of space to sit garden with beautiful flowers statutes which makes the college looks more mesmerizing canteen are college library cafes everything was just so good every staff in our college is supportive we have all the emergency facilities available for us
Nothing ?
Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classroom has 4-6 fans which help students to stay focussed even in the hot temperature. The Library is well maintained and is filled with all the necessary books. Hostels are neat and clean , also the food they provide is of good quality. The large open space in the campus creates a recreational effect on the students.
I am studying MA. The quality of teaching is great. Teachers are very helpful and updated about the new trends in literature. The course will help you to develop new concepts regarding the PhD program that you may be aiming at.
Honestly, the quality of placement remains a question for me. I don't know if any placements occured in the previous or this batch. However the college is supportive in terms of helping students with recommendation letters.
The fee structure is absolutely negotiable. You learn quite more than you what you pay.
Campus life is outstanding. Students engage in group conversations and support each other in academics. The environment is totally safe and sound.
Overall, it's a good feeling to be part of Jamia Millia Islamia and the exposure it provides to students
All the building of department and hostel are friendly for handicapped persons. The facilities include modest and spacious infrastructure spread in multi storey building with lift facility. There is also a separate Canteen, Xerox and stationary shop and seminar hall for conferences and other events.
Teaching faculty of jamia is one of the worth mentioning because not only they are knowledgeable but up to date with recent advancements in education and technology. They have adequate subject expertise and very friendly behaviour towards students.
The syllabus of course work for Ph.D students is very diverse to cover all the major themes. My course curriculum is very relevant. Placement percentage is 100% with respectable job profiles with high salary packages.
Good infrastructure and other facilities.
JMI is very good university. JMI provides to students many facilities. The environment of study in JMI is also very good. JMI provides library facilities for study, silent reading hall with air condition, WiFi. Greenery is seen in everywhere in JMI, which gives a good environment to the students, Students from all over the state come here to study.
I'm persuing in BA persian last semester in JMI. And Arabic as a subsidiary subject. I have learnt about Persian and Arabic. The department of Arabic in JMI is one of best department as compared to other universities.
JMI'S placement is also very good. I don't know about the exact placement, but I know that the placement goes so far that you don't have to wander anywhere. And JMI's placement has recently gone to foreign language 60k per month salary.
The spirit of this college is Best! NAAC accredited and top 3rd ranking in India. Professors are super brains and humble. Main thing is they are approachable. Great Environment, clean and green. :) You need to clear the exm which is not cake walk, to get enrolled in a course at Jamia. So prepare well, rest the Jamia will hone your skills. Come with an open mind. Jai Hind!
Environmental Science Department is under Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Jamia. Best part is the management angle in this course which is unique. Employability of the student enhances multifold by this course. Very aptly curated programme.
University Placement Cell does commendable job in giving student skill, exposure and opportunities to showcase the talent and get placed at good organizations. From Private companies and start ups to PSUs and Indian Army, their reach is vast. You got to have it in you!
Absolutely, yes!
Very vibrant life. Memory for lifetime.
Get in if you can and then experience it, live it !
Yes College have all the necessary infrastructure and other facilities... Yes we do have library sports centres and also wifi connectivity availability everytime. Yes there is clean and hygienic food available in our college
I am studying law because i do want to know my right and duties and serve to society. But the quality of teaching is not much good. Yes there is development in this profession like law is basic need of society without the law a society can't exist in proper way.
There is no placements in my college. None of the student from our university has been placed anywhere. There is no salery pakage at all in this university. No there is no easy placement in our college and college doesn't support for any placement
40000 per year. Yes i do feel it is good for an year for this professional course
Yes campus life is good because of the brotherhood. It is known for the secularist college all over the india
My Institutions have almost all the necessary infrastructure. Proper management of classroom. However there is still some improvement required in laboratories. There is lack of Hostel. But whatever they provide, they are doing it in proper manner.
I have completed my graduation ( B.Sc Physics Hons ) in 2021 and right now I'm doing masters in Physics from the same University. The teaching quality was good in bachelors. But not so good in online mode.
For my course, the placement cell was very active. But there were not so much placement happened. Some students get placed but it wasn't their respective field. The another big reason was most of us were interested in heigher studies.
The Annual Fee was ₹7200. The education and the facilities they provide were money's worth.
It was the best part of my life. The campus was well managed, safe and beautiful. Student gathering and engaging in social activities were very common.
The infrastructure of classroom is very nice. There is almost one lecture theatre in each department with multiple projector facilities and air conditioning. There are huge lecture theatres for convocation purposes. Sound system also present for good communication.
The examinations and course comThe infrastructure of classroom is very nice. There is almost one lecture theatre in each department with multiple projector facilities and air conditioning. There are huge lecture theatres for convocation purposes. Sound system also present for good communication.pletion is very up to date. But it requires little more interactive classes. Clinical exposure and ward visiting is not up to the mark. Professors and demonstrators are all good in government colleges ove
There is allotment of 100 percent students in internship. They also can apply for housestaffship over here. They are very good options for private jobs also if one passes from here. So overall the placement is good.
It is very very feasible. Only rs 4500 per semester of 6 months and rs 12 only per month for hostel. Examination charges are 1000 for University exams. Mess and canteen are also very reasonable.
The environment over here is very good. Senior junior interaction is good over here. There is no complaint of ragging too. Cultural program keeps on happening. A very good playground is there with 4 flood lights so sports tournament keep on occuring. So campus life is good over here.
Jamia is love
Teachers are extremely helpful and very qualified in their jobs, although there are a few teachers who continue to teach on request even after they retired since there are no faculty available. The knowledge isn't that relevant in today's world but its necessary to know. Teaching Quality is like a 5 out of 10. Yes I would say that it does makes the students Industry ready.

The placement cell will provide you with internships from the starting of the final year. But not very many students will get that. There is very little placement for Bsc courses. As my experience, they provided us some internship and some research jobs but nobody gets one so I cannot say about placement after B.tech but you will get the internship if you are active and is in contact with the placement coordinator. Most of the students go for the masters so they don't work much on providing job
total fee for B.tech is about 64000. It's quite nice college.
I got this course, I wanted to do engineering. After that anything works. , have better teachers who know how to communicate well. , events and fests are like a daily thing in JMI. Everything is pretty good.
With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.
Dear aspirant,
The Jamia Millia Islamia B.Tech merit list for 2025 is expected to be released in the coming weeks or likely after the JEE Mains results are announced. Also the JMI conducts its counselling process. JMI admissions to B.Tech programs are based on the JEE Main scores and the university will release merit lists for different rounds of counseling. For more information please visit these links.

Hello Sakina
If money is not the issue, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is preferred for BDS due to a superior clinical exposure and national credentials.
DY Patil is a good private alternative with better infrastructure and comfort but usually less patient inflow and market value.
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
