The faculty and infrastructure here are top-notch. There are separate buildings for each particular department. There are two major libraries with high-speed Wi-Fi. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and very open, which helps in air ventilation. The food served here is really good and very affordable; you can eat at a very low price. Also the hostel fees are very low and very affordable.
The teachers here are very helpful for their students. They provide all the necessary things required by the student at the time of the exam, like previous year sample papers and important topics. The semester exams are of 100 marks for each subject, in which a minimum of 40 marks are required to pass the particular subject. The classrooms have smart boards for writing and and showing video modules and campus have open Wifi.
There are very high chances that you will get placed within the college if you are good in your academics. The highest package offered by our university was in the 2024-25 session, which was around 25 Lacs. The average package as of now is around 9 Lacs per annum, there are numerous companies like Zomato, ITC, Honda, TATA, S&P Global, EY, OYO, HCl, Hindustan Times, ASSOCHAM, , HDFC Bank, FedEx, Axis Bank, Swiggy, Bajaj Allianz, and many more companies comes for placement purpose .
Jamia Millia Islamia is Central University of India thats why is a very cheap and very great university. If somebody is coming from a weaker financial background then they could easily afford this university. No doubt JMI is a great great university.
The campus is perfect, and the events here are entertaining and very fantastic we enjoy a lot , also during the time of Ramadan every day their is iftaar party for every student irrespective of their caste and religion.
It is quite good with state of the art facilities. The computer labs, scientific labs, sports complex, all is very robust. The maintenance is bit of a problem due to the university being a government one.
The academics are averagish. Some of the faculty members are quite good but most of them are just like school teachers who tell you only what is restricted to the curriculum and aren’t able to cater any problems out of that.
They are like any other Tier 2 B.tech institution with an average package of around 6-8 lacs. The major recruiters being ZS, Samsung and some other big companies. The TPO is cooperative and conducts the process efficiently.
Being a central university, the fees is negligible. Did my complete B. tech within 42k.
The campus of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is well maintained with nice infrastructure. The BBA has class rooms and lab facilities, and computer labs. The central library provides rich collections to the students with digital resources.
The BBA curriculum is very well designed at JMI by incorporating the theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Professors are very approachable, and they stress more on case studies in real life. There are frequent guest lectures and industry interfaces so that the students are well updated with the market trends.
The placement cell is very active and supportive of the students. Reputed companies offer roles in marketing, HR, and management. Though core managerial roles are dominant, some students feel that there is a need for more diversified industry connections. The average package for BBA students is decent and growing annually.
The university is highly valued and the fee is affordable too. Thus, it would make a good investment return at JMI for BBA. The cost can easily get outweighed by the quality of education, exposure, and opportunity. Thus, it is going to be a good choice among aspirant managers.
JMI's campus life is full of vibrancy, which helps in the cultural, social, and academic growth of students. Cultural fests and business competitions make the campus lively. The diversity of students guarantees rich interactions and opportunities for personal development.
The infrastructure at this college is average, with basic classrooms and labs. The library is small and lacks resources for research. WiFi connectivity in classrooms is inconsistent. Sports centers are rarely used, and hostels are not maintained well. The food quality is poor, and hygiene in living spaces is a concern
I am studying Engineering because I love understanding how things work and solving problems. The quality of teaching is good, and the professors are knowledgeable. The curriculum, however, does not cover some of the latest developments in emerging fields like AI, machine learning, and renewable energy.
Placements at the college are good, with many top recruiters visiting the campus every year. The highest package offered is attractive, and the average package ensures good returns for students. Internships are facilitated by the college, focusing on skill-building and practical exposure.
Amazing college, extremely educated faculty as well as good curriculum. It's an amazing place to study any business course, Afterall it's India's one of the topmost universities. It has an affordable fee structure.
Study material provided is good enough and also up to the date. Professors are supportive and teach in a good manner. Exam schedule is a bit unpredictable, they don't follow a particular pattern. I've learnt a lot throughout my course and still learning.
I'm not yet eligible to say anything regarding this, but yes if you're from Jamia, the chances of getting hired do increase. Even if you don't get placed by college, you still can crack some big dream company on your own.
Obviously, being a central university Jamia has really low fee structure which is pretty good and affordable. In terms of fee, it's outstanding as you don't compromise with quality at all, instead get the best!
The campus is well-equipped, with modern classrooms, a large library, and great sports centres. Wifi and air conditioning in the classrooms are a big plus. Hostels are decent but require better hygiene.
Management is my field of study because I aim to build a career in corporate leadership. The teaching quality is satisfactory, and the professors provide real-world case studies. The curriculum is solid, but it could be updated.
The MBA placement season was disappointing with just 65% of students securing offers. the highest international package was 21 lpa, while the top domestic offer was 13.5 lpa. the median salary of 6lpa left many students dissatisfied.
The infrastructure here is excellent, with spacious classrooms and up to date laboratories. The library is well maintained and sports facilities are available for all students. Wifi is available across campus, and smart boards are frequently used. Hostel cleanliness could improve, but food quality is good.
I chose to study Management as I am interested in strategy and organisational leadership. The teaching quality is very good, with highly experienced faculty. The curriculum is well-structured, but it could be more current by including topics like data-driven decision making and business sustainability.
The highest domestic package reached 16 LPA, while international offers climbed to 25 LPA. About 62% of the batch lands internships, though most are smaller startups as top tier companies rarely participate
The college has excellent infrastructure, with well maintained classrooms and laboratories. Libraries are well stocked with books, and sports facilities are top notch. Wifi and smartboards in classrooms makes learning easy.
I'm pursuing an MBA because i want to develop leadership skills. The teaching quality is good, professors offer practical insights along with theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is also very well structured.
The MBA placements are reasonable with around 75% students getting placed. The highest international package was 24.5 LPA and highest domestic package was 16 LPA. The median salary is about 7 LPA and mean is 7.5 LPA.
Yes, I feel this college is value for money as the return on investment is very high. The whole MBA course costs around 40,000 and you get a job of around 7 LPA atleast which i would say is a pretty good return.
The campus best feature is its diversity. You can find people here from all parts of India. The teachers and the staffs are also very helpful to the students. The location is also quite nice and yes it can handle emergency situations.
Overall, i would recommend this college to anyone who wants to pursue MBA because it has a pretty good faculty with excellent ROI. It also offers very good Phd. Courses which students can look upon. A great college to begin your career.
The college infrastructure is decent but could be improved in some areas. Classrooms have basic facilities, and laboratories are functional. The library is well-organized but lacks some updated materials. Sports facilities are okay, and WiFi works well. Hostels need a lot of improvement in cleanliness, and food hygiene could be better.
I chose Commerce because I am interested in business and finance. The teaching quality is good, with professors making topics like accounting and economics easy to understand. The curriculum is relevant but could include more practical insights into digital finance and entrepreneurship.
Placements for commerce graduates were satisfactory, with the top offer being 7 LPA. The median salary of 4 LPA reflected consistent opportunities. The college was very supportive during the placement season, ensuring ease for students
B.com BBA was fun

W e have a very fabulous college life here.
With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.

Hello Sakina
If money is not the issue, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is preferred for BDS due to a superior clinical exposure and national credentials.
DY Patil is a good private alternative with better infrastructure and comfort but usually less patient inflow and market value.
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
