The college infrastructure is almost awesome , but needs some modernisation like the smart board , better acces to wifi in the hostels also. The living spaces are very hygienic and well maintained. The food is good
Half of the teachers are great and very hardworking , passionate , honest and helpful. But nearly half are just roaming here and there in the department , doing everything except teaching . Some teachers comes up with good level of research, and give their best while teaching
The placements from our department are not that good . Even though geography and GIS and remote sensing are very emerging fields yet there is no better collaboration of our geography department with good companies and startup that can offer good package job
Infrastructure is brilliant in terms of everything. The classrooms are high-teaching, and the lecture hall are air-conditioned with smartboards and excellent furniture. The hostels are also getting updated and the new hostels that have been built are apartments like with private balcony. Every hostel has a day and night canteen, laundry room, gym room, stationery, etc. It has one of the most beautiful campus I have ever come across.
Some faculty members of my course are good at teaching, but some are not creating an atmosphere where a student's interest can be increased on the topic further. Apart from that, the curriculum is not something that is to be taken lightly, as there are midterm exams, endterm exams, and class tests, so it is very hectic to survive in an IIT. But it's a good thing that it teaches you how to handle pressure. The curriculum is updated, and it is very relevant from a research point of view. The semester exams can be moderate-ddifficult based on the type of course that is opted for. A minimum 5 CGPA is required to pass a subject.
Placements are beyond excellent for B.Tech students, but I think it would be better if you taught. Companies come for Masters students too; only coaching institutes are there who approach Masters students. But the name itself is sufficient to land a good internship opportunity. You can also do research work under professors from all over the world with the help of connections. The placement cell is also very active. Students opt for Ph.D. government exams and placement. Placement cell helps a few students who want to get a job; otherwise, students go on their own ventures mostly.
Jamia is gem seriously it's best.
Our college has a variety of facilities, including numerous libraries, classrooms, and labs. However, I find the Wi-Fi speed to be subpar. On the bright side, we have excellent canteens, sports fields, and a wide range of sports programs. Additionally, the college organizes various other events and activities.
The course curriculum and examinations are well-structured. Our college has highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers. The semester exams can be somewhat challenging, but not overly so. I believe that what may seem tough for some can be quite manageable for intelligent students.
I'm pleased with the faculty members at our college for the quality of their teaching. The faculty is strong overall, and the college itself is impressive. The college offers a wide range of courses, and while placements are generally good, they aren't perfect—many of my friends haven't secured placements. Despite this, the college and its faculty are outstanding in every other aspect.
Great campus life

Campu life is outstanding
I am pursuing ph.d .it has a good infrastructure; all labs like manufacturing, graphic, and AutoCAD are there. The hostel's campus is very beautiful. It has big rooms, Wi-Fi, a mess, low fees, etc. Hostel life is crazy here, as you will find diversity here.
Our college conducts three exams per semester. Two mid-sems and one end-sem are conducted. One can pass exams easily only by focusing in class and solving previous-year papers. Most of the teachers are very helpful and some are also arrogant. Some professors are also Ph.D. holders and some guest faculty members are also IITians. Since I am in my first year, I think the curriculum is very relevant for first-year students.
Almost all students from our batch were placed in top MNCs. Companies such as Samsung, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra, Comviva and HSBC Bank visited our campus. The highest package went up to 10 LPA and the lowest package was 3.4 LPA. Almost 80% of students were placed.
Everything is good.

The infrastructure and facilities in this college is quite up to the mark. The campus is equipped with all the necessary and latest facilities and equipment. The classrooms, laboratories, library are well maintained. Even the hostel facility is good. Whole campus is clean and hygienic.
I'm studying m.com business management from this college. The quality of teaching is appreciable. The curriculum is quite updated and includes all the latest developments in the field. Basically, it is in structured format.
The placements in this college is quite average. People do get their dream jobs and high package salary. The placement committee is decent and supportive towards the welfare of students. Even the placement process is so easy and pleasant.
This course from this college is worth it and absolute value of money. The core development of my personality from this college is quite a pure bliss. The course is not much costlier and it is affordable.
The campus life is full of fun and refreshing. There are various events organized by college to keep the students engaged and motivated. The location is safe and secure. Many competitions are also organized for growth and development.
With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.

Hello Sakina
If money is not the issue, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is preferred for BDS due to a superior clinical exposure and national credentials.
DY Patil is a good private alternative with better infrastructure and comfort but usually less patient inflow and market value.
Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!
